Officals are investigating why a toddler fell from an indoor children’s roller coaster and died Saturday.
According to reports, the boy, Jayson Dansby, was riding the roller coaster at Go Bananas in Norridge with his twin brother when he apparently worked his way under the safety bar as the ride was in motion, falling between two cars, suffering head injuries and falling a few more feet to the floor.
Dansby’s death was ruled accidental by the Cook County Coroner’s office. Investigators said they believe the child met all the height requirements for the ride, despite the lack of a sign posting them nearby. Dansby died of multiple injuries after being struck by the roller coaster and falling from the ride.
