Toddler In Aurora Backed Over, Killed

A toddler was backed over and killed Saturday afternoon in Aurora.

According to reports, one of the child’s uncles backed over him, shortly got out of the car before taking off. The 15-month-old boy was found lying in the driveway, severely injured just before 5 p.m.

He was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead about 5:25 p.m.

Officials said they believe the driver, as well as another uncle were in the sport utility vehicle when the accident occurred. The driver reportedly turned himself over to police Monday, but has not been formally charged.
